On Sunday afternoon, March 2 at 2 PM SLT, best selling author, Sophie Kinsella of "Confessions of a Shopaholic" fame was in SL to introduce and read from her new novel, REMEMBER ME?—and take questions from readers in Second Life in the Amphitheatre on Bantam Dell Island and also garner SL fashion advice.I was IM'd by one of Sophie's PR people that I was selected as one of the top 10 best dressed in SL and had won a free copy of her latest book.
Sophie Kinsella is a former financial journalist and the author of the bestselling Shopaholic novels, including SHOPAHOLIC & BABY, as well as THE UNDOMESTIC GODDESS. She lives in England with her family.
Her book "Confessions of a Shopoholic" is being made in to a major motion picture starting Isla Fisher (Mrs. Borat) in the starting role as Becky Bloomwood. Sophie shared with us via voice that her youngest child saw her avatar on the screen and said, "MOMMY!!"..LOL..
