Warm metals

For this post I wanted to put together something with warm colors and sparkling metallic pieces, with an overall stylized retro taste. The giveaway of the old collection of skins by Lion Skins was a marvelous, generous gift from their creator, Lion Jonesford. The wide array of make up and skin tones allowed me to find exactly the kind of shade I was looking for with this outfit, a red-orange one with gold reflections, in a sun tone. As orange looks so nice with green, I said goodbye for a bit to my favorite eye color, the blue one, and choose the amazing cyan of the Leticia eyes by Redgrave. Looking at the result, I must say it wasn't such a sad goodbye! :) Due to my love for vintage looks, I bought several styles of hair from Le Salon some time ago. All are perfect for some retro pieces I have in my inventory. I selected the only longer style I have, matching it with the red silk hat by Elegance Hats that, in my opinion, gave a sort of “O' Hara” effect. A gift by Baiastice, the Grandma pearls, matches perfectly with a part of the hat. The broach by N i V E N come with the shirt I used for this outfit. The Metallic Stone outfit. I love the texture and the color combination too: the metallic gold of the shirt and the red of the sleeves and the collar are amazing and pair amazingly with the Nell sculpted skirt by LeeZu Baxter. I really admire the natural movement of this skirt. It looks nice even while seated; avoiding the usual problems we all have with flexi.

To complete the look, found some lovely Mary Janes from Periquita and some wonderful and very cheap and tintable dot tights from Veschi. And no, the bag is not part of the metallic outfit! Is incredible how the upper part of it is just like the sleeves and the collar of the shirt, felt so lucky when I found it! That’s all for now!
