I'd been meaning for quite sometime to try out The Dorian Day Spa as I love a good spa day in RL, I was curious how something like this might be carried out in a virtual world setting. I made appointments for a spa manicure/pedicure and shoulder/neck massage.
Gertie, my spa technician, was friendly, courteous and professional. She conveyed her actions via detailed live chat and I found myself relaxing to her soothing voice and enjoying the process.
I got to pick colors for my manicure/pedicure and was told when to wear them in the process of the services.
A short walk to one of the massage and body spa treatment areas situated on the dock by the water, and I was treated to a lovely neck/shoulder massage with warm citrus oil. After an cool outdoor shower in the warm sun, I wrapped in a soft, absorbent robe and joined Gertie in the reception area for a chat and some coffee and snacks. I also helped myself to the free spa bag containing a spa towel, oatmeal facial mask and brochures of services.
The Dorian also offers wedding services and bridal shower parties at the spa. I definitely would recommend a visit there. It was well worth it and I will return again!
