This event had to be rescheduled for this Sunday due to the huge crowds from last week on the two sims designated for this event. Read below for details on how the event will be run tomorrow.
The brand new venue is set and the red carpet has been rolled out. This Sunday, February 27th at 1PM SLT, the GLANCE Fashion Awards 2011 Theatre will be packed with anxious Nominees donning dazzling couture with brilliant jewels and esteemed Guest Hosts ready to open the envelopes and say those words everyone has been anticipating… “And the winner is…”
After 1405 votes from SL Residents had been cast through GLANCE International Agency’s official website, from mid-January to mid-February 2011, the 5 most often suggested brands of each of the 12 categories were announced to the public. Discover them today here:
During the first part of the Awards Ceremony, the access to the event’s location will be restricted to Nominees, Hosts and Production Team. Fashionable spectators are invited to tune in and watch Rezzed TV’s LIVE stream, beginning at 1PM SLT, Sunday, February 27th:
For those wanting to join in the Awards ceremony as they happen live, there will be 3 official locations offering a festive and fashionably chic atmosphere for viewing. The sites will be revealed in “GLANCE | International A-List” group in-world along with official blog and social network accounts on Sunday, February 27th at 6 AM SLT.
Throughout the event, there will be a LIVE coverage of the first annual Awards Ceremony by directors of GIA on our official Social Networks accounts. Add us and discover simultaneously the Guest Hosts, the announcements and the winners!
With the awards over, the celebration will be just beginning! At the end of the show, the sim will be open to the public. We want to congratulate, celebrate and embrace not only the top 12 winners but also show an appreciation to those SL residents who put their time into casting their ballots and participating in the GLANCE Fashion Awards 2011 venture. Strike a pose on the red carpet, make your way up the steps amid flashing cameras and glittering spotlights and join us inside as we kick off what will be a stunning after-party!
This premier event is part of a series of projects involving the fashion community at large and developed by GIA’s brand new department, the GLANCE Fashion Foundation. During the ceremony, 70,000L$ will be awarded to talented fashion designers, bloggers and lucky voters from the SL fashion community.
