It was Marilyn Monroe in "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" who sang, "Diamond stud earrings are a girl's best friend." Okay, so she sang that it was just diamonds, but I'm altering it for my purposes. :-)
In fact, diamond earrings are possibly the perfect accessory. I can't think of many things that they don't go with. You can wear them with jeans, a t-shirt and heels and be all set to go anywhere that has a semi-dressy dress code.
Diamond stud earrings are magnificent with the basic little black dress. You will look classy, elegant and timeless. Even smaller studs with a sundress and sandals can make you feel fresh and beautiful. You will be ready for a picnic and a breezy day.  Diamond Stud Earrings have the quality of brightening your face without overdressing you for any occasion.

I based my SL versions on two sizes and styles. The first is a smaller diamond  in a patterned Bezel setting that is available in platinum and gold settings.  The second are the statement making gumball-sized classically set diamond studs.

Whether it is a single solitaire earring in round, cushion or princess cut or a pair consisting of white and colored diamonds in one of many new patterns, and settings in white or yellow gold, diamond stud earrings adds a sparkle to your ears and are an ideal gift, both for lovers of hip-hop and bling, and the more traditionally minded, and when it comes to cost you can purchase diamond earrings online at a fraction of the normal cost if you know where to look. Don't forget though, the 4 C's - Carat, Clarity, Cut and Color will affect the value and price of your studs.

A nice RL pair of studs that will be in your jewel rotation always can be found here

The One Hundred: A Guide to the Pieces Every Stylish Woman Must Own-#5 - Aviator Sunglasses

Worn:
My Favorites - Aviators:  SteinWerk -Classic Aviators (hundreds of frame and lens options via HUD)
**3 Options Shown**
Hair: ::69::Jadore-Pale Blonde
Skin:  The Niven Collection-ss2011-Sunkist Kiss Skin in Milk (Coming Soon)
Top:  The Niven Collection-Alabaster Pitch Top worn with monochrome corset
Aviators are a classic style of sunglasses which have truly stood the test of time. First seen during World War II, they were created in response to a need for sunglasses which would protect pilots' eyes from the sun's harsh glare.

Conquering In Style!
The Aviator became a well-known style of sunglasses when General Douglas MacArthur landed on the beach in the Philippines in World War II. Photographers snapped several pictures of him wearing them for newspapers.

That the style is still around today, and more popular than ever, is testament to their ability to do just that - and to look good in the process!

Aviators are a style rather than a brand, so you you'll also find them from a number of different designers. While Ray Ban remains the brand most closely associated with aviator style, most of the big designers have added aviators to their sunglasses collections. That means you should be able to find a pair in almost any sunglasses store, as well as online. I personally have several pairs ranging in price from $10.00US to $250.00US.

Gorgeous Pilot Angelina jets off to her
next exotic location!
Hollywood has a longstanding history of making aviators a statement of style - Howard Hughes, Tom Cruise in Top Gun, Brad Pitt in Fight Club and of course his significant other, Angelina Jolie among others have been seen on and off screen sporting them.

Yves Saint Laurent YSL 2146S Sunglasses

For the most versatility, I go for styles like this that mix plastic frames with steel accents. This plastic aviator style from YSL (as worn by Angelina) has steel temples and crossbar and a smaller overall size. This is a great style on men and women. Wear yours with anything from Jeans to a sequined mini for star style and star power!
For those who like a metallic frame, I recommend this classic look with a modern twist to make you shine wherever you are!

The One Hundred: A Guide to the Pieces Every Stylish Woman Must Own-#3 - Ballet Flats

The Niven Collection-Bring Me Spring Ballet Flats (NEW IN THE STORE TODAY!!)
Ballet flats are derived from a woman's soft ballet slipper, with a very thin heel or the appearance of no heel at all. The style usually features a ribbon-like binding around the low tops of the slipper and may have a slight gathering at the top-front of the shoe and a tiny, decorative string tie.
The essence of the ballet flat has existed since at least the 16th century, in which men wore a similar shoe, then known as pompes. In medieval times ballet flats were popular with both men and women. They only came out of fashion in the 17th and 18th centuries when the high-heeled shoe came into fashion after Catherine de' Medici requested that her cobbler add two inches to her wedding shoes. Heels went out of fashion quickly after Marie Antoinette walked to the guillotine in a pair of heels.
The Orginals - Classic, Elegant, Sleek....PINK!!
repetto
When Rose Repetto created her first ballet shoes in her workshop on the Rue de la Paix in 1956, she was looking for

refinement and elegance. Repetto's famous ballet flats, inspired by demi-pointe dancing shoes, have become legendary all over the world thanks to the fame of their illustrious owners, and to the stitch and return technique defined since the start of the tradition. Today the production of each shoe remains completely traditional and is surrounded with various quality controls. Just like every precious object, they are produced in limited edition.

Ballet flats took off again when Audrey Hepburn wore them with skinny jeans in Funny Face in 1957. Ballet flats are popular with girls and women of all ages. They are also a great alternative to heels, and they are seen with many tweens and teens at school dances and proms instead of heels.

Perfect With Jeans Or a Cute Sundress!!
They come in a wide range of color combinations, some with contrasting grosgrain or metallic trims.

Adding animal print-leopard, zebra and cheetah, to your wardrobe can turn a drab outfit into something elegant or sporty. Whether it’s a hot shoe, a cool handbag or a belt, a little animal ’magnetism’ goes a long way.  A simple animal scarf is so versatile it can work miracles with an ordinary wardrobe.

Handbag: The Niven Collection-L U X E-#3 size Cheetah Print Handbag
Beret:  The Niven Collection-L U X E-Cheetah Paree Beret
Scarf:  The Niven Collection-L U X E-Cheetah/Gold Silk Scarf

Chic is always the goal with accenting with animal prints. Be mindful of the quality of the print and in most cases it's best to wear only one piece at a time or you might end up looking like "Fashion Roadkill."

A striking leopard print, for example, can liven up a basic black dress in an instant; a bright piece is nicely countered by a polished zebra print; and a pair of jeans and crisp, white tee, suddenly look like a million bucks when worn with cute cheetah-print shoes.

Belt:  FENDI-Wide Leopard Belt

The first item on the list of 100 that every stylish girl should have in her virtual and RL closet is the A-line dress.
Christian Dior created the A-line dress in 1955, a style he adapted from Chirstobal Balenciaga's voluminous trapeze dress.  Removing much of the excess fabric from the sides, he created a closer silhouette that was still loose fitting on the body.
All it needs is a few great accessories, some great shoes and your favorite lipstick to be ready for any event.
Summer with cute sandals and Winter with some warm, colorful tights and boots; anytime of year it looks great!
A RL option below. Simple, stream-lined and ready for your style!
It appears lately I have been channeling Mia Farrow circa "Rosemary's Baby", no?
